FPSO Jasmine Venture MV7 External Turret
Scope of Work
This SOFEC external turret mooring system was designed, constructed and supplied for the MODEC-owned “Buffalo Venture” FPSO from December 1999 to December 2004 when operations of the FPSO expired. MODEC modified and re-deployed its unit to Singapore for PEARL Energy Group’s Jasmine field offshore Thailand.
Jasmine field is located approximately 300km south of Bangkok in a water depth of 60m. Crude oil produced from the reservoir is transported from a fixed platform via 1.5km pipeline.
