SOFEC is responsible for the design and procurement of a spread mooring system for the FPSO Bacalhau, at the Bacalhau field, Block BM-S-8 located iin the giant “pre-salt” region of the Santos Basin some 185 kilometers off the coast of the municipality of Ilhabela/SP, in the state of São Paulo.

SOFEC will design, construct, and fabricate an external turret for the Sangomar (formerly SNE) Field Development Phase 1 project located in the Sangomar Offshore and Sangomar Offshore Deep oil blocks, located offshore Senegal.

SOFEC is responsible for the design and procurement of a spread mooring system for the FPSO Anita Garibaldi – MV33 which will be deployed at the Marlim Field in the Campos Basin, in the northern region of the Rio de Janeiro State, 150 km off the coast.

SOFEC is responsible for the design and procurement of a spread mooring system for the FPSO Almirante Barroso – MV32 which will be deployed at the Buzios Field of the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.

SOFEC designed, constructed, and fabricated a Disconnectable Tower Yoke Mooring System for the FPSO Eni Mexico Area 1 which is deployed in the Amoca – Area 1 Field some 10 km off the coast of Mexico.

SOFEC has been awarded the Lufeng Permanent Reinstatement Project Provision of Turret System by CNOOC China Limited. The system is a Disconnectable Turret System that will be integrated into a replacement FSOU and moored to the existing Lufeng 13-2 Field Moorings in the South China Sea.

SOFEC is responsible for the design and procurement of a spread mooring system for the FPSO Guanabara – MV31 which will be deployed at the Mero (formerly Libra) Field in Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.

SOFEC is responsible for the design and procurement of a spread mooring system for the FPSO Carioca – MV30 which will be deployed at the Sépia Field in Santos Basin, offshore Brazil.

SOFEC designed, constructed, fabricated and installed an External Turret and Turret Support Structure for the Benchamas 2 FSO. The Benchamas Field is located offshore in the Bay of Thailand in approximately 71m water depth.

SOFEC was responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of five (5) CALM Buoys and associated anchor chain legs, PLEMs, piles, hoses, mooring hawsers, and all ancillaries in accordance with Oil Companies International Maine Forum (OCIMF) Guidelines.

Under contract to IHI Corporation, SOFEC was responsible for the design and construction of an external turret system and flexible riser system. SOFEC’s responsibilities included the design of the subsea pile-based pipeline end manifold (PLEM) and turret support structure (TSS).

external turret mooring system for Hoang Long Joint Operating Company (HLJOC), a partnership comprising of Petrovietnam, Soco International, PTTEP and OPECO.

This is the first FPSO installed on the Jubilee Field, one of the largest oil fields discovered in West Africa in the past decade. This is one of the largest external turrets on an FPSO application.

SOFEC designed, provided analysis and procurement of a spread mooring system to moor a 258,000 dwt MODEC converted VLCC FPSO located in the Jubarti field of the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

SOFEC designed, constructed and supplied an external turret mooring system to moor a 350,000 dwt MODEC-converted FSO vessel to receive, store and offload oil produced by the PRA-1 Platform and nearby oil fields in the Campos Basin, Brazil.

SOFEC designed and constructed a CALM system located in 25m water depth to export diluted or refined crude oil and gas oil products to the 96,920 dwt tanker and import naphtha diluent from tankers to shore.

The FSO Ta’Kuntah is a MODEC converted 357,000 dwt ULCC tanker with a SOFEC external turret mooring system

SOFEC designed and supplied the 12-leg anchoring system and deckmounted equipment including chain supports and jacking system for a permanent spread mooring system for installation on a MODEC converted 139,000 dwt FSO vessel.
